    the inhale does not need to be trained – only the exhale. NEVER hold your breath. All this does is create unneeded pressure on the larynx. Unless you’re looking to swim underwater any exercise where you hold your breath is a waste of time. It does not strengthen anything having to do with singing. No singer needs to train to increase maximum lung capacity because one will never need to use that much breath.

    All the exercises you demonstrated here are useless for singing – perhaps for freediving but not singing. None of these exercises strengthen the exhale which is where all singing comes from.
