  1. Thank you, very helpful! I’ve just started taking singing lessons and I
have a hard time to grasp how to “let my voice out” and not singing so
constrained. Speaking the tones really helped my muscles understand what
the brains knew I was supposed to do.

  2. Thanks for this video….. I’m new to vocal lessons and have trouble
singing in my chest voice. Your explanation has made it a lot more clear to
me what I need to do.

  3. This is a great tip, thank you so much! I’m just like you were, stuck in
that low chest voice. I naturally sing from my head voice and I’m having a
hard time to learn how to sing from my chest voice, I can’t do any high
    notes.

  4. Thanks so much, you explained exactly my case. I tend to sing more
classical style of music, metal.. and this way I developed a stronger head
resonance, the moment I start to sing a note it all goes into the head. I’m
going to train to speak the notes first. Very helpful.

heyy i have a been singing for 3 years with a professional coach but i dont
feel like i improved that much. i still havent found a mix voice yet! and
my range is limited to a high C when i sing with a chest voice. Recently i
have been worrying that my teacher isnt good enough. My teacher is an
operah singer, and i want to sing pop. should i find a different teacher?
    hhellppp!!!! 🙁

  6. I have got so much from starting my lessons with Maria and I look forward to carrying on with them, and developing my voice, well into the future.
