A few of the questions answered in this video:
• Does singing ever get easy?
• How do you reduce jaw tension while keeping a horizontal
• Is the horizontal embouchure difficult?
Don’t waste your time… Challenge your voice! If you find one of our exercises or techniques difficult, it means you’re improving the motor skills on that particular part of your voice. Don’t see “difficult” as something bad. Instead, embrace it and think of it as an indicator that you’re working parts of your voice that in fact need be worked.
The Embouchure, how you shape your mouth for singing, is a French word that refers to the POSITIONING of the articulators that are externally visible (namely; the jaw, teeth, tongue, and the lips) which together form the extrinsic part of the vocal track. It directly affects the dampening of the larynx, volume, and the compression of the vocal folds among other things.
