Learn both a beginning and advanced variant of a singing breathing exercise which I call The Balloon Squat. This breathing exercise will strengthen your diaphragm, work your core musculature, and improve your alignment!
You should notice increased freedom in breathing and greater strength behind your vocals after doing this exercise for a couple of weeks.
