“SING, SING, SING” BY BENNY GOODMAN

Writen by Louis Prima in 1935, This is not much of a song from WW2 but it is one of the most famous songs from the Big Band era

  1. One of the greatest swing songs out there. And for that time if you really listen to it it’s very sophisticated in it’s structure. Not to mention the incredible Gene Krupa on the drums.

I wanted to see the surprise of Louis Prima and Benny Goodman, as if they had been surprised and admired by the ”Sing, Sing, Sing” of Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School for the first time.
    彼らもきっと天国で驚いているに違いない。
They must be surprised in heaven, too.
    そして自分たちと同じ時代に彼女たちと共演できなかったことを残念に思っているに違いない。
And they must be sorry that they couldn’t have played with them in the same age.
