I just bought some credits for lessons (from the US). What is the earliest (your time in AUS) that you give lessons? 8am Australia (which is 6pm in NY).
8am is best for me, but at an absolute “must” I can do 7am at the earliest (just let me warm up and have a coffee first!!!). Let me know.

When you warm up in the car, do people look at you in surprise? Has it ever happened?
Ha, absolutely. I don’t personally practice in the car unless I really would have to, but I once had a student who had threatening notes left in his car space (apartment block) telling him to be quiet ha.
He took a photo and had them professionally framed as a trophy for his massively loud voice.

Damn. I live in an apartment and time is tight. I exclusively work on vocal exercises on the way to work and back. For the past year. Didn’t think it was a bad thing :/
No, it’s fine! Just be aware that your posture and breathing will shift the second you get out of the car, so your balance will change a little. It’s fine to warm up in the car, but leave the heavy singing and wild range for the studio or spare room 🙂
