  1. Hi and thank you for watching. Let me know which tip you are going to follow to improve the use of your diaphragm?

  2. My favorite tip was breeding sideways. While I was watching I was testing it out on myself. Yeah you really do expand sideways. And I think I can do it better when I just relax and breathe. I really loved this one, K πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ˜Š

    1. I am glad you notices the sideway movement. It’s so important for efficient breathing. Thank you Ian for your kind words.

  3. Sideways breathing What?!? That’s a funny term. I need to slow down and focus on my breathing more. Who knew your diaphragm descended and your ribs start moving out. What an amazing body we have πŸ™‚

    1. We have an amazing body! Breathe sideways. You are not the only one to comment on this term. I said it’s funny but is it clear by what I mean by it?

  4. This is so helpful! πŸ™‚ Just out of curiosity, is it normal to feel like yawning during singing? How do you not yawn?

    1. Thank you for watching! I am glad you liked the video. In regards to yawning, I have heard from several singers that they “suffer” from this problem. So, you are definitely not alone. However, I am not sure how to stop it. It’s a reflex so once it’s triggered it’s difficult to stop. Do you know what triggers your yawning reflex when singing? Any observations?

    2. Thanks so much for responding! πŸ™‚
Glad to know it isn’t just me. Sometimes I notice that I yawn less when I’m nervous or if I’m not thinking about how tired I might be… Not too sure why I yawn though! I wonder if I don’t draw in enough air?

    3. I don’t think so. There is some research suggesting that yawning and not enough air are not related. But research really does not tell us what the real reasons for yawning are. It is not well understood. I would suggest journaling your (when you yawn and when you don’t so that you can figure out what helps and what does not).

  5. I almost died when she said “did you like my play on words” πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    Great video though!! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
