How To Sing – Right Place Wrong Time – Dr. John – Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy

How To Sing – Right Place Wrong Time – Dr. John – Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy
I am a sucker for funky rhythms, pocket singing and great musicianship.

Winner of six Grammy Awards, Dr. John has been bringing us the funk ever since.

A funny side note is a reference he makes in the lyrics to Brain Salad Surgery (one of the great Emerson, Lake & Palmer albums).

I decided to take my stab at this and even sing the last chorus an octave up to give it a bit more energy.

I also enjoyed played the guitar on this one as well, to keep my funk chops up!

Here’s a spunky tune with a bit of funk, just for fun! Let’s hear from YOU this time, and put in a few requests for future vocal demonstrations and tutorials. I love hearing from you, and hearing what you want to learn more about! Thanks for the Likes and sharing to facebook, etc… This is the kind of song you’ll be hearing in your head, singing along, all day long! Share it with your friends!
