    1. Of course you always have to inhale deeply before singing any phrase. In opera, there’s a principle named “inalare la voce”, which gives you the sensation of inhaling. Of course, you don’t literally inhale, but you only exhale very little air and achieve a lot of compression that way.

    Very Beautiful soprano voice you have! I had troubles with this Aria because I had a underdeveloped chest voice and I am a very light soprano. You gave a very helpful advice about the chest voice!
    One thing that worked for me is the “laugh” sensation (not smiling, just inner sensation) in the lowest range to avoid lowering the larynx too much and keeping the chiaroscuro .
