  1. Mr. Tamplin, you are blessed with this brillant voice and Talent!
Thank you so much for this Video.
Wish you all the luck for the future!
    Cheers from Germany!

  2. always look for classic song covers that people don’t dare to touch , you
sir , backed up “how to sing” just great
pitch perfect as i would expect a vocal coach to show, glad a found your
    channel

  3. Quick question: Is there a reason for maintaining one’s tongue in a tight
position for the higher notes? I ask because I watched this video (and I
sing this song nearly perfectly) and modified my tongue as you do and found
that I was able to sustain the note in perfect pitch better. Is that by
    design or just my imagination?

  4. Bravo!!! Dear!! Very very nice sincere hear your vocal-school!!! Thank-you
very much for the friendship!!! Good luck and sincere, joy, tollerant, wizdom
your and yours students in prof-real-work with voices!!! Happiness
    everybody!!! With very big respect!!

  5. Hello Ken, I’ve heard Kelly Hansen do the song, and now that I’ve heard
you…maybe you should be touring with Foreigner. Hey this is just my view
and it’s not meant to take anything away from Kelly who is a great
vocalist. You just happen to sound more like the Lou of old than Kelly…
In my opinion. I enjoyed your video. Thank you.

I would like to join the academy, I’ve been practicing singing to songs
while listening to them and then it’s karaoke time! Lol. Great job by the
way. I first discovered you when I saw how to sing like Johnny Cash in my
    search results.

  7. I agree. Not to take anything away from Hanson but Ken should be on tour
with Foreigner because he is a Lou Gramm fan and understands the passion
and depth of Lou’s vocals and can deliver them.

  8. love it Ken, but can i ask and honestly. Did you struggle a little with
this one? it looked like it was quite difficult to sing like Lou. Just want
to know what a pro says. :)

  9. Ken you are an amazing singer. Wish I could sing as half as good as you.
Wait what am I saying if I had 10% of your talent I would be singing 24/7.
    Keep up your amazing work.

  10. The Blackstone Project

Great job Ken. I was listening to the original recently and I kept
thinking, “Isn’t this a Ken Tamplin song?” You capture Lou’s sound and tone
extremely well, and the fact that I kept thinking of your version means
that yours resonated more with me. Also, your arrangement is really cool.
The analog synth brass and pads on your instrumentals are out of this world
    too.
