  2. This is a very use full app. Thank You very much for suggesting it Madam. I was reviewing description and here you mentioned:
For a pitch/shruthi of “F#” (setting in shruthi box) , the following should be the display for Sa, Pa and Sa:
    Lower Sa – G3#, Pa – C#, Higher Sa – G4#

However, when I check the spreadsheet that you provided, it shows Sa – F#, . Can you please clarify which is the correct one.

    1. Well, in a lighter way, I would say, when u want sambar rice and I make something which is is between sambar and rasam, would you relish saying that this is new variety? What has to be done in certain ways, would be enjoyed only when you do it in that way. Varieties are by-products of creativity but that cannot become fundamentals…

    1. Lahari Guru Thank you very much for replying. I understood from your video that the app you mentioned is for Shruthi box. I wanted to buy actual Shruthi box as a gift for someone who is a beginner in Carnatic music. I just wanted your suggestions so that it would be helpful for me to choose and buy!

  7. Maa, this is the demonstration of first lesson in the most difficult of all sciences, i.e., Sangeetha Shastram. Jai Maa, Jai Maa, Jai Maa.

  8. If you are going to use a standard tuner to test anything other than the base SA, you have to be very careful. Most tuners are for Western music which is based on equal temperament division of the notes. You need to convert to just intonation of Indian music and make some other adjustments, if the tuner app will allow you to make these. In my channel, I have demonstrated how to make these adjustments – for those of you who are interested.

  9. Ma’am thank you for the beautiful video. The colors are ranging from orange to yellow to green for each pitch. Where should our voice be?
