  1. I just have to say this testimony, I can relate to 100 percent because it’s exactly what I am went through and kind of still going through right now. I ask myself the exact thing! “Why do I think i can do this”? I have been told to be a counselor so many times. Im in my late 20s and decided to follow what I believe God told me so I do not have regrets later in life. This video came at a perfect time. Thank you and God Bless you for sharing!

eru haile Don’t give up. Keep working. Gods glory will be seen in you. If you can, try learn to play the piano too, it really helps develop your musical ears, which forms a large part of singing.

  2. These are great, very easy to relate to at least for me. I used to worry so much I damaged my voice beyond repair trying to sing led zeppelin and stuff like that in freshman year of highschool, but I only last my voice a day or two at a time maybe once or twice in my life.

  3. If you have 3min to spare I just uploaded my first video of singing 🙂 Please check it out or ignore this. I’m not that good but I enjoy singing. Thank you

  4. Thank you so much. People always tell me that singing is genetic and even though people learn singing they have to have a good voice to start. This is really inspirational.

  5. Hey guys! I’ve been traveling out of the country the past couple weeks, but I have answered some of your questions on my Instagram Vocal Coach page . Episode 3 will be out soon (turn on notifications to make sure you
    don’t miss it)! 🙌🏽

  6. Eric, your videos are fantastic and inspirational. I’ve probably watched at least a dozen so far. I know, I should be spending more time actually practicing. I will definitely do that, starting with the breathing exercises. Thank you so much. I hope you will have the time to keep making these videos.

  7. i can’t even say how great-full i am all you videos have made me better and i am so, so great-full …….thank you very much cant wait for your next post thanks again

  8. I never comment on Youtube vids but this video is beyond inspiring. Eric, you are awesome and you give us non-singers hope for one day being halfway decent. Cheers!

    1. Waqas Tahir – It took me a long time to be able to push my stomach out even a little bit. Watch his videos on full body breathing and it will change your life.

  9. I can totally relate to the feeling of “cheating” about singing. I am not the best in vocal range, but I’m not terrible either, I just get the feeling like if I was meant to be a singer God would have blessed me with the pipes of one! But then I also have a strong desire to go for it and work hard to achieve my goals. Its really amazing to know that you (who I actually thought was a natural born singer without lessons) could do it then anyone can because we are all human! thank you for sharing your singing journey so far, its incredibly inspiring!

  10. This is really powerful Eric thank you for sharing. It reminds me not to quit and it reminds me to listen to my inner dialogue about my self esteem and artistry.

  11. HELP! I can relate to everything on this video. I tried out for a Church Choir and got in but sound so bad. All I ever wanted to do was sing in a gospel choir and sound decent. With that said it seem you have a great understanding of the voice and I wanted to know if you have any CD’s//DVD’s for sale

  12. After each video you inspire me more and more to improve my singing. I’ve never had any vocal training nor can I afford any. I wasn’t really confident with singing until I had some opinions from friends and with these inspirational and exercise videos I can only get better. So I thank you so much you are an inspiration 🙏🙏🙏

  13. Hi Eric, First of all, I want to thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I want to make music for a long time, but never dared to. Not only you but also some of my idols have shown me that the way to become a good musician is to fight! From the outside, it always looks so easy when you look up at the stage and there’s one of your idols singing. Today I know it’s hard work and the will to do it! Thank you for the inspiration 🙂

  14. I’m glad you told this story Eric. For someone starting it can be really discouraging when I see someone else that’s so amazing. You reminded me that everyone started where I am now and through hard work and patience I could possibly get to where they are.

  15. Thank you very much for sharing your personal experience. It is hard for me to shake off the idea that anyone can truly become a great singer if they practice the right stuff consistently. I connected with a lot of the things you said and these videos helped to maintain faith that it really exist a greener side after putting the effort.
