Vowel alignment (singing the five cardinal vowels so that your tone and volume is consistent) is key to virtually every aspect of singing.

Want to sing high notes? Align your vowels so that you have consistent tone across the secondo passaggio.

Have problems with phrase length? Alignment of vowels means a more efficient use of your air, hence longer phrases.

The list goes on and on.
