In this rather LONG vlog episode, we’ll discuss a few basic exercises to start singing your lines while improvising.

This is not an easy task!

As you’ll discover in the video, it’s important to start small, and start singing melodies to easy standards at first.

We’ll also dig into an Hal Galper exercise from his book Forward Motion.

Lastly, I’ll take the last 10 minutes or so explaining my “personal story” behind singing lines while I improvise.

Do what I say, not what I do! 🙂
