Song Interpretation – How to Sing Using Back Phrasing / – Take my FREE 3-video belt singing course!

This video is all about a very useful song interpretation tool called back phrasing.

What is back phrasing? Back phrasing refers to the technique of speeding up or slowing down a song’s lyric at certain moments in order to add certain emotional emphasis.

Don’t think back phrasing can add emotional weight, intrigue, or power to your performance? Check out the video to learn how simple changes in tempo or rhythm can have a HUGE effect on your song delivery!

Learning how to perform a song for maximum impact opens up a world of possibilities. At times, it can be overwhelming! Which is why, in this video, I want to focus on this one very powerful tool and teach you the DOs and DON’Ts of back phrasing.

Hope it’s helpful!!
