As singing lessons go, diaphragmatic breathing is the key. Deep breathing is not only important for anyone learning how to sing, it’s also the healthiest way to breathe.
To make the most of this video singing lesson, simply follow the animation until only your stomach moves when you’re inhaling and exhaling. Please note that your shoulders should not move at all and the upper chest move only minimally.
Also, what’s key to diaphragmatic breathing is maintaining good posture that frees the stomach area to move in an out comfortably. This is the foundation to all solid singing lessons.
