Hey ken great work! Do you know Neil Fallon from Clutch? I wanna know how
he does those drives in his voice, cause it’s really full and heavy!
    Thanks!

  2. king henry says:

    love

  3. Brad Zimmerman says:

You don’t mention anything about breathing properly. You’re nailing the
notes but it sounds like your stomach is tight and you’re straining your
chords. If you sang 25 songs like this a night, four or five nights a week,
you’d fry your voice, wouldn’t you?

  4. Roses1401 says:

You do outstanding job on that song!!! <3 It brings memories back to me!
🙂 I sung one time this song on the stage whan i was beginner with karaoke
(learned that song only with midi)..people loved and i got the 3th place on
contest in my town with that song . If i had know you at this time and
heard your singing, sure this could be 1st place !!! I am lover of
LeddZeppelin. I listened LedZeppelin daily whan i was tiny girl! :)

Regarding My How To Sing Like… Series:

People say “I want to sound like me and not anyone else.”
And I say – Absolutely! No one should “clone” anyone.
But we all have influences, and it is the sum of those influences, and how
we “re-present” them with our own style that makes us great.

Learning a difficult cover song where the bar is set high, is an excellent
grading scale to see how well our technique is working.
This is also true for learning different styles as this increases our
vocabulary for diverse singing and helps us find our own unique voice.

In my “How To Sing Like” videos, I still sound like Ken Tamplin, but seek
to show you how to sing in their “style” safely.

Glenn Hughes – Lou Gramm – Paul Rodgers

When Choosing A Vocal Coach Or Singing Program, Make Sure The Coach Can
Prove Their Technique With Their Own Voice & Their Students Voices Whether
    It’s Cover Songs Or Originals.

The Proof Is In The Singing.

  17. pedro guardiola says:

  18. Hey Ken I’ve got a question for you:did Robert Plant sing in chest voice in
songs like Black Dog,Immigrant Song having an amazing range in chest
voice,or was he able to use head voice without a proper technique?

  19. gtrfrkkkkk says:

All heads must bow, even Robert Plant’s. I said it before, and I’ll say it
again, you are the best singer I have ever heard.

  20. It freaks me out that you can sing “Rock N’ Roll” sitting down and playing
the guitar. Isn’t it much easier to do it standing because of the support?
Or does it come to a level when your control just makes it basically the
    same?

  21. milestoneman says:

Plant`s tone and range defined him as a rock god. Hard enough I would think
to be taught to sing within his range, yet 99% of tribute band vocalists
fail to emulate his tone and nuances which is what the fans judge hearing.
Only James Dylan of YouTube’s Virtual Zeppelin comes close to Plant`s tone.
He’s got the range. Great job from you.

  22. david lucas says:

    need new paneling ………great voice

  23. john weiht says:

that les paul special is such a good guitar!! Plays so easy

  24. Ryan Hess says:

You have an amazing voice obviously, but it’s nearly impossible to sound
like Robert Plant. There’s never going to be a performer as good as him
    again.

  25. Keyboard Gladiator says:

I’m afraid i have to say that you are better than Robert Plant. You have
thickness on your voice. But still I prefer Robert Plant.

  26. Superb stuff. Do you do an Ian Gillan?

  27. Stallowned35 says:

Plant and Rogers are my fav along with Asbury. You need more dirt in those
songs noted. You hit notes spot on…its the 1 in a billion tone that is
    tuff.

  28. SOY DE ARGENTINA LA ROMPES AMIGO!!!!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  29. Johnny Storm says:

no one can imitate his voice because every one has a unique voice of their
own. I can sing these songs knowing that I can’t imitate his tones.

  30. zan colja says:

Can we sing the high parts (seems so long since we walked…) with head
    voice?

  31. Janne Elias Gorsolke says:

    damn, this is rock n’roll

  32. Jasmin Harvey says:
