  1. maybe you can analyze corey taylor as well. it would be really great
because in my oppinion he is one of the best singers in our time. thanks

  2. STOP AND CONSIDER THIS: Most all singing programs out there show NO
SINGING. NONE. Only “talk” with “testimonials” making crazy claims about
their product. Yet NO ONE IS PROVING IT WITH ANY ACTUAL SINGING (and I mean
songs, not a scale or a note – but truly singing great). The coaches aren’t
singing, the students aren’t singing. Don’t you think that is strange?
Something worth thinking about on you singing quest. Ken Tamplin Vocal

  5. Thanks, Ken, for demonstrating something closer to my range! It’s also been
fascinating watching and hearing your demos of higher-ranged male vocalists
that I love as well (Brad Delp, Lou Gramm, Freddie Mercury, and more).
    Maybe one day…

  6. no question about it you can sing man!!if you could would you please give a
point or two on the things in sls singin you do agree with. atleast one

  7. I appreciate what you said about this lower range is your speaking voice.
I’m a full time musician. I’ve been playing for about 16 years, but only
recently have I focused on voice. Luckily I play in a country band and
there is a place for me on the bottom as a bass. So I don’t have high note
envy 🙂 Please do Josh Turner and give some love to us on the bottom.

  8. Can you do a cover over a Joe Ligon song, preferably “Meeting Tonight.” I’m
searched the internet and have really found nothing over his voice type.
Can you try and help me out here?

  9. Great low singing Ken! Would you ever consider doing a vocal range
demonstration video? I mean I know it’s not that important or anything but
it might be interesting to see anyways.

  10. Looking forward to getting your DVDs. Been out of the music scene for
awhile. Kinda rusty but getting back into doing CCM, learning new equipment
and recording software. My voice range is similar to Johnny Cash and I
intend to do a variety of styles. KTVA is a Godsend. Peace and blessings,
    brother!

  11. hi ken, you referred me to this video and I hoped to find here how to
expend my lower range. it says nothing in here. you just sing and voila! do
it yourself! can you point out some tips how to sing lower than you usually
    do? some exercising techniques etc?

  13. I’m a tenor with very weak low notes, A2 is already very difficult to sing
loud and with a so so timbre. So my problem is with singing low notes,
expand my low range. Is it possible?

  14. Great work Ken. You’re the master. To sing like Cash you need to unlearn
all that you know, slap much reverb and sing off key… :)
